Fire October 2003

More pictures of the fires around my area. Excuse some of the blurry pictures, I was getting away from the cops. I'm serious.

This was taken at around 2:30 a.m. (or is it 1:30 a.m.? crazy time change). The massive blaze at 10 p.m. died down and a good part of it moved west towards Claremont. In the mean time, another chunk of fire was still hanging around the east part of Upland. In this photo, you see two clumps of flames. The clump of fire on the left had jumped over a road and started to threaten some homes. You can see the big power lines. The fire would cut off power for moments at a time. There were a lot of fire trucks battling this fire, because of its potential to destory homes and spread through out the city.

That crazy fire was closer than I thought! I'm here at the Baseline and 210 freeway exit.

This is the fire across the 210 Freeway. I glanced around quickly and noticed there wasn't any fire trucks. I guess they thought it couldn't breach the 210 Freeway.
